5 reasons to visit Saudi Arabia with the kids

My wildest travel dream

is to take the kids to Saudi Arabia.

Recently opened to tourism, this country still pretty unknown seems to be hiding real gems. Here are five reasons why this destination is on my bucket list:

  1. Spend a night at Habitas Alula, an extraordinary hotel offering boho chic villas in the middle of the desert, plus an infinity pool, art installations and trampolines integrated to the ground. Your tibe will never forget this jumping contest amidst the canyon of Saudi Arabia.

  2. Explore Jeddah’s old town and expect to come across Aladdin or Jasmin around every corner.

  3. Swim in Umluj, often referred as The Maldives of Saudi Arabia

  4. Turn yourself archeologist at the spectacular Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first Unesco heritage site.

  5. Explore de deserted centenarian villages of Al’Ula made of mud and Thee Ain made of stones and now home to monkeys.
