The coolest AIRBNB for a week end out of Bangkok

By Charlotte Burgoyne,

Bangkok dwellers, I have found a super quick trip to paradise for you. To get there, hop in your car, drive two hours South East of the Capitale and you will be there:  the coastline of Rayong province, a much quieter environment than its neighbor, Pattaya.

Lili Provenance is a super family-friendly four bedroom airbnb overlooking the sea. From almost of all the rooms in the house, you will get the most gorgeous and peaceful view. Crystal blue water, no buildings in sight, just a couple of trees and fishermen's boats.

What attracted me to this place, versus other ones in the area is the minimalist, white and wood filled decor. Every details at Lili Provenance issuper well thought of to make your trip simple and easy. They even have plastic cutlery for kids! Their pantry has basic essentials that will save you from bring your salt, pepper and olive oil!

In addition to a really nice set up, Lili Provenance is conveniently located between two gorgeous areas to visit. On the West side you have Ko Kam and Samae Islands, ex-military bases now open to tourism but still really unknown and visited. On the West side, you have the long white sandy beach of San Son and Ko Same island. If you'd rather stay local, like we did, I recommend Phala Beach. It is NOT a touristic place, meaning the area is not super clean and you won't find many dining options. Everything is super low key and local (what we liked to be honest).

Don't miss the Life Beach café nestled in the little fisherman's village next to Phala Beach. The food is devine (special mention to the Pad See Ew and its homemade thick rice pasta), and the kids will love picking up seashell while waiting for the food.

Little Voyageurs loves:

❤️ The 180C water views.

❤️ The incredible minimalist interior.

❤️ The location in a non touristic part of Thailand.
