MEET AUTHENTIC NATIVE AMERICANS IN MONUMENT VALLEY, USA

[supsystic-gallery id=7]"Breathtaking panoramas and harmony with Mother Nature - this is how I would describe the genuine stay we had at Monument Valley Tipi Village.

More than a hotel, this is a unique place where you can embrace the Native American culture and legend. It was definitely the most striking experience for our family during our summer trip in the Four Corners States in the USA.

Nestled in the heart of the Navajo nation, this secluded “village” is home to traditional Native American tipis, cabins and tent sites. Every site has a private shade ramada, with picnic table, mounted BBQ grill, electricity, light and running water. The hosts can also provide an authentic Native American dinner.

We were staying in a comfy hand-constructed octogon cabin, decorated with local artisan art and artifacts from the host family's ancestral heirlooms themselves. Our cabin faced east, toward Monument Valley with its remarkable panoramic view. The kids were even more thrilled at sunrise when a mysterious fog circled the red sandstone cliffs, adding sacred and mystical vibes to the experience.

On leaving the village you can take a 2-hour guided hike to a spectacular vantage point overlooking all of Monument Valley. We recommend it for older children only.

Tipi Village can also arrange for you a 4-wheel-drive tour of the mythical Navajo Tribal Park, 4 miles away. Listen and learn, as your Navajo guide shares with you the stories, the images, the music and the spirit of America’s first peoples."
